100% Riesling – Eden Valley.  Alc. 11.5%

From a cooler than average vintage 2011, this first release Tim Smith Wines Eden Valley Riesling is from a vineyard planted in 1922, at an elevation of 450 m. The fruit was hand picked so that only the finest bunches were processed, fermented cool, and bottled young to maintain freshness and  purity. The wine shows classic lifted notes of citrus rind and bath salts, while the palate is focussed and linear, and finishes with a crisp, natural acid finish.
